Your handcrafted timber and resin board from Fractal Flow Designs is made to last. Follow these care instructions to keep your board looking sharp and performing at its best for years to come.

✅ How to Clean Your Board

• Wipe clean with a damp cloth or mild dish soap after each use.
• Never soak your board in water or run it through a dishwasher — this can cause cracking or warping.
• Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers.

💧 Keep It Hydrated

Wood is a natural material that needs moisture to stay strong.

• Re-oil your board every 3–4 weeks, or when it looks dry.
• Use a food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner (our custom care kit is perfect).
• Apply oil evenly, let it soak in overnight, and wipe off excess with a clean cloth.

✅ Use only food-safe oils and waxes – such as mineral oil, beeswax, or our Fractal Flow board care kit. These penetrate and protect the wood without going rancid.

🚫 Do not use cooking oils, butter, or cosmetic products (olive oil, vegetable oil, shea butter, etc.) – they spoil over time, causing unpleasant smells and bacteria build-up.

✨ Re-oil your board monthly or when it looks dry. Simply rub in oil with a cloth, let soak overnight, then wipe off excess.

💧 Hand wash only – never soak or put in the dishwasher.

🔥 Resin & Fractal Inlay Care

• The resin surface is tough, but avoid direct heat, sharp knives, or cutting directly on resin inlays.
• Gently buff resin areas with a microfiber cloth to restore shine.
• Keep away from prolonged sunlight to avoid UV yellowing.
